Counselling
Develop insight. Build resilience. Create meaningful change.
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, relationship difficulties or simply feeling stuck, counselling can provide the space to better understand yourself and discover new ways of moving forward.

Why Choose Counselling?
Sometimes we know something needs to change, but we're not sure what—or how to begin. Counselling offers a safe, supportive space to explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences, helping you better understand yourself and move towards the life you want to live.
My Approach
Insight
Developing insight helps us understand ourselves more deeply—our thoughts, emotions, behaviours and experiences. Greater understanding creates greater freedom to choose how we respond.
Practice
Meaningful change rarely happens overnight. Together we'll develop practical skills and small, consistent actions that help you build resilience and create lasting change beyond the therapy room.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is counselling confidential?
Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. Everything we discuss is kept private, with very limited exceptions related to safety which we will discuss fully in our first session.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your goals. Some clients find short-term work (6-12 sessions) helpful for specific issues, while others prefer longer-term support for deeper self-exploration.
What happens in the first session?
The first session is an assessment where we talk about what has brought you to therapy, your history, and what you hope to achieve. It's also a chance for you to see how I work and if you feel comfortable.
Is online counselling effective?
Research shows that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions. It offers flexibility and the comfort of being in your own space, which many clients find beneficial.
How do I know if we're the right fit?
A strong therapeutic relationship is key. I offer a free 20-minute consultation so we can talk about your needs and you can get a sense of my style before committing to a full session.
